Office Administrator – Programme Submissions Coordinator
Our client, based in Cahir, Co. Tipperary, is dedicated to providing QQI validated, quality‑assured education and training programmes to the agricultural sector and is seeking an ambitious Office Administrator – Programme Submissions Coordinator.
The Role
The main purpose of the role is to serve as the primary point of contact for learner engagement regarding the submission of projects and assignments for the Green Cert programme. Responsibilities include:
* Opening post on a daily basis
* Tracking projects and assignments submitted via post or online and date‑stamping them
* Sending receipt and reminder messages to learners via Compass (Student Management System)
* Following up with learners who are late submitting assignments and projects to ensure timely completion
* Printing projects and assignments for correction
* Checking the quality of assignments and projects to ensure they meet standards
* Preparing projects and assignments for correction and preparing correction sheets
* Ensuring sufficient correctors are available for upcoming assignments and projects
* Coordinating with correctors to ensure corrections are completed within appropriate timeframes
* Escalating concerns to line manager and providing cover for the administration team as required
* Assisting with any other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth running of the office
Skills & Experience
* Qualification in administration or equivalent
* At least 2 years post‑qualification experience in a busy office environment
* Proficiency in MS Teams and MS Office
* Experience in customer relations
* Professional knowledge to carry out duties and responsibilities
* Ability to build good interpersonal relationships with learners, correctors and staff
* Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal
* Excellent customer‑service skills with a professional and friendly demeanour
The Offer
Full‑time permanent role with a competitive salary of €32 000 – €33 500 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The role is based in the company’s office in Cahir; candidates must be based in the region or have a short commute.
