About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Account Executive to join our growing sales team in Ireland, this role is a mix of existing and new business for our SME market.

Which tasks can you expect?
New business
Undertake self-prospecting and inbound lead management to deliver the pipeline required to hit target.
Contribute to strategy for pipeline generation.
Work with the Sales Managers to improve opportunity management and qualification processes.
Target, qualify and engage with key representatives in prospective accounts.
Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop messaging that will garner interest.
Create new opportunities, develop profitable sales and achieve annual sales target within SME markets.
Existing business
Accountable for a portfolio of customers where the employee sizes are typically less than 250 employees.
Work closely with Sales Managers to identify key company accounts to develop.
Proactively recommend and upsell products or services based on client needs.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients.
Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to address any client issues and provide timely resolutions.
Monitor client satisfaction levels and take proactive steps to improve overall satisfaction.
Engage with prospective customers to develop new business relationships, understand the challenges they are trying to address and determine the solution(s) that will be of value.
Across both
Drive revenue growth of the company and be part of the SD Worx Sales Machine.
Develop a deep understanding of client needs, goals, and pain points.
Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our product and services by working closely with presales, management, and your peers.
Liaise with Service Delivery and Implementation to ensure a smooth and professional service between SD Worx and the customer.
Be the voice of the customer with Operations & Implementation to ensure our teams are meeting the customers' requirements, whilst proactively managing client expectations.
Ensure timely renewal of client contracts and negotiate terms when necessary.
Develop a good understanding of prospect & client organisations both in terms of decision-making structure and also strategic and business aims.
Leverage relevant customer and market knowledge, expertise in order to help customers find the appropriate solutions.
Measure activity through dashboard metrics to track effective methodologies and behaviours in the team and replicate these.
Keep accurate records of client interactions and maintain a client database.
Stay up to date with industry trends and client news to identify new opportunities.
Always represent SD Worx professionally ensuring alignment to SD Worx strategy, business plan, code of conduct, ethics, products, and services.
Have extensive understanding of all SD Worx proposition offerings.
Being able to communicate through multi-level relationships into prospects and clients.
Working within a team environment.
What do you have to offer?
Strong experience within a Sales/Business Development Representative/Account Executive role (SAAS/Services company preferred)
Working with SME businesses would be beneficial
University degree or equivalent experience is beneficial but not essential
Trained on call structuring, conversation control, and pitching
Strong opportunity qualification, objection handling, and time management ability
Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office Suite.
Self-starter with a track record of successful, measurable lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels within an organisation.
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skill
Strong negotiation and problem solving abilities.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Fluency in English is essential.
The ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment.
