Circet Ireland and UK are seeking a Group Financial Reporting Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fixed‑term role (approximately 14 months) offering a strong opportunity to gain valuable group reporting experience.

Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain broad exposure to group reporting within a growing international organisation supporting ongoing professional development. Reporting to the Head of Group Financial Reporting, the Group Financial Reporting Accountant will play a key role in the preparation of monthly management accounts, group reporting, budgeting and forecasting and the ongoing strengthening of financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts for review and circulation to Board
Supporting group consolidation processes including intercompany eliminations
Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are complete and reviewed on a monthly basis
Assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting to the Central Finance team in France
Supporting the application of relevant IFRS accounting standards across the Group
Supporting the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts and 5-year business plans
Analysing and investigating variances; with clear summarisation of data, trends and key drivers
Liaising with finance teams across Ireland, UK and Group HQ (France) to support consistent reporting
Contributing to the ongoing review and enhancement of financial systems, processes and controls
Assisting in the development of key reports with Microsoft Navision/Solver
Supporting the development of management reporting and dashboards using Power BI
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
ACA qualified with 1-2 years' PQE.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a strong advantage
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
