Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (QS)

About the Role
Glebe Builders Ltd. are seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team, based out of our Laghey office and working across multiple commercial and residential projects throughout the northwest region.
This role will suit a self-driven QS who is confident managing costs, contracts, and valuations, and who enjoys working closely with site management and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the cost management and financial control of multiple ongoing construction projects.
* Prepare and review subcontractor packages, BOQs, and tender documents.
* Manage monthly valuations, cost reports, and cashflow forecasts.
* Assess and process variations, change orders, and interim payments.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Support procurement, budgeting, and project delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
* Work collaboratively with the Project Managers and Site Teams to ensure efficient project cost control.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.
Key Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or equivalent).
* 3–5 years' post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within a main contractor environment.
* Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts (GCCC, RIAI, Design & Build).
* Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, CUBIT, or similar QS software.
* Full clean driver's licence – travel to regional sites required.
