Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties:
* Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, along with normal QS duties.
* Experience with RC frame, apartment, residential, and commercial projects.
* Residential house building experience is essential.
* Undertaking monthly internal valuations and producing monthly cost reports.
* Reporting on budgets and variations.
Maintaining subcontractor and supplier contractual details.
Job Requirements (including qualification & experience)
The Candidate:
* 7-10+ years of post-graduate experience in PQS or a contractors' office.
* Ability to meet demanding timeframes and quality targets.
* Proficiency in IT skills, including Buildsoft, Cost-ex or equivalent, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
* Willingness to attend training and develop relevant skills and knowledge.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
* Good spoken and written communication skills.
* Methodical, detail-oriented, and accurate.
* Ability to work well with people at all levels and in teams.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
* Willing to accept responsibility for completing assigned tasks.
