About us

The 5* Intercontinental Hotel, Ballsbridge is currently looking for an experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to join its team.

The InterContinental Dublin is located in the leafy suburbs of Ballsbridge, within close proximity to the RDS, Aviva Stadium and is on a frequently serviced bus & DART line.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

* Manage the Conference & Banqueting operations on a day-to-day basis ensuring quality service and standards are maintained along with delivering a five-star guest experience that is unique.
* Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs.
* Identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue. Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value.
* Manage day to day team requirements including hiring, training and motivating your team
* Communication and collaborate with interrelated departments
* Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all local regulations concerning health, safety, or other requirements.
