Overview We\'re continuing our cloud adoption journey and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Google Cloud Engineer (VP level) to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform as part of a multicloud environment.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, resilient, scalable and secure solutions that meet business requirements.
What you\'ll do Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Google Cloud core infrastructure and resources to support our business Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) and CI/CD Dev Sec Ops tools Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments ensuring high availability and performance Working with Information Security, assist in the implementation and management of security best practices, including access control, data encryption and threat detection Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing applications and systems Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud technologies and industry best practices Participate in the evaluation and selection of new cloud-based technologies and services Contribute to the improvement of cloud operations and processes What you\'ll bring Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and their Google Cloud implementation including networking, storage and security as well as other concepts such as Saa S, Paa S and Iaa SExperience and understanding of enterprise patterns and best practices around building out GCP for a regulated organisation (e.g.
Landing Zones, Enterprise foundations blueprint, network and connectivity options, etc.)Proven experience with Dev Sec Ops practices (e.g.
Git, CI/CD) and tools such as Google Cloud Dev Ops, Cloud Build, Git Hub Enterprise and Git Lab Strong proficiency with Terraform (Ia C), Docker and Kubernetes (containerization technologies) are strong advantages Solid understanding of Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)Experience with scripting languages, e.g.
Power Shell, Bash and Python Strong communications and collaboration skills with the ability to produce clear documentation in corporate Wiki tools Experience of other Cloud Services such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, is also a strong plus Rights to work in Dublin are strongly preferred All third-party applications will be managed by Robert Walters.
