We are looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team, working on a client site. The Project Manager will lead the delivery of a thermal oxidiser installation and integration project within an API manufacturing facility. The Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary interface between the client, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a thermal oxidiser project, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
* Develop and maintain the project execution plan, schedule, risk register, procurement plan, and communication strategy
* Oversee design development including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, control philosophy, and integration with existing API plant utilities and process streams
* Coordinate HAZOPs, design reviews, constructability reviews, and safety assessments
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including main contractor, equipment vendors, construction contractors, and internal SMEs
* Manage vendor selection, technical evaluations, contract negotiations, and performance oversight
* Facilitate regular project meetings, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and actions
* Support validation teams by coordinating documentation, FATs/SATs, commissioning, and qualification activities (IQ/OQ)
* Ensure all project activities comply with GMP, EPA/Environmental regulations, ATEX requirements, and site engineering standards
* Promote a strong culture of safety, ensuring adherence to site safety standards, permitting requirements, and construction safety protocols
* Monitor schedule performance, identifying deviations early and implementing recovery plans as required
* Maintain a comprehensive risk register and lead mitigation planning
* Provide regular progress reporting to senior management
* Support development of operating procedures, training materials, and maintenance strategies for the thermal oxidiser system
* Oversee tie‑in planning and execution to minimise impact on plant operations
* Ensure seamless mechanical, electrical, controls, and utilities integration with existing plant systems (e.g., process vents, waste gas streams, steam, condensate, nitrogen, instrument air)
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or related field)
* Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environments
* Strong understanding of thermal oxidiser technology, waste gas treatment, emissions control, and associated regulatory requirements
* Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in fast‑paced, high‑compliance environments
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and contractor management skills
* Strong knowledge of GMP, site safety standards, ATEX, and process engineering deliverables
* Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, risk management frameworks)
