A senior mechanical design role leading projects across EMEA, with full responsibility for delivery from concept through client handover. The position is highly client-facing and includes technical leadership, quality assurance, and mentoring of engineering teams within a multidisciplinary environment. Hybrid working in Ireland with some Dublin office attendance.
Key Project Focus for 2026
Data Centres (EMEA) – cooling systems, resilience, energy efficiency
Mission-Critical & High-Tech Facilities – high-load, high-availability environments
Complex Mechanical Building Services – industrial and regulated sectors
Experience Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Chartered an advantage)
7+ years’ experience across data centres, industrial, high-tech, commercial, or healthcare projects
Strong client-facing and project leadership experience
Ability to run projects independently
Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical building services design from concept to completion
Mechanical systems design and specification
Design and installation quality control
Tender documentation, reports, and technical recommendations
Develop project scope with clients and design teams
Mentor and support junior engineers
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS, and EN standards
AutoCAD and Revit essential; Bluebeam advantageous
Comfortable with engineering analysis tools and technical documentation
