Hotel Management Role
We are seeking a skilled hotel manager to oversee the daily operations of our four-star hotel in Co Wexford.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency across all departments
* Establish and maintain standard operating procedures throughout the hotel
* Oversee cost control and profit maximisation for all operational areas
* Develop and support staff to achieve set objectives
* Ensure the business is conducted in a sound and positive manner
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience as a hotel manager of a similar property, with brand experience an advantage. They must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully planning and operating total hotel budgets, showing excellent knowledge of market trends and the competitive set.
Key Requirements:
* Excellent numeric, literacy and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, hotel management software)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines by fostering a strong sense of productivity and result orientation
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building relationships with internal and external guests
* Ability to develop good working relationships with departmental managers and members of staff
* Ability to build amicable and personable business relationships with clients, guests and staff
* Act as hotel ambassador, demonstrating professionalism and integrity at all times
