Job Title: Business Development Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-focused Business Development Manager to oversee all business development activities for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the overall sales and business development strategy for the team, driving revenue growth and profitability.
* Develop and execute the brand and sales strategy for the property, with a focus on market trends and customer needs.
* Identify and pursue new markets aligned with the hotel's overall sales strategy, analyzing and reporting on these activities.
* Lead the team in effective selling techniques, monitoring results and adjusting strategies to ensure objectives are met.
* Collaborate with Senior Management to manage hotel bookings and availability, maximizing revenue opportunities.
* Provide insights on local market conditions, informing strategic decisions.
* Participate in Revenue meetings as required.
* Prepare departmental budgets and forecasts.
* Develop and implement goals and strategies for the department, aligning with organizational objectives.
* Establish strong relationships with key accounts, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Sell rooms, conferences, food and beverage services, and other hotel offerings.
* Monitor account production and implement strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
* Ensure accurate recording of sales reports and data from the Sales & Marketing team on relevant systems.
* Oversee public marketing activities of the hotel.
* Develop and execute an advertising strategy in line with the hotel's vision.
* Manage and produce marketing materials.
* Develop social media strategies to enhance marketing and sales efforts.
* Create on-site promotional activities.
Additional responsibilities may include managing and producing marketing material, developing social media strategies, and creating on-site promotional activities.
