Job Title – Maintenance Engineer

About the Company:
Our client company who are based in County Monaghan are now looking to recruit for a Maintenance Engineer to join their vastly experienced team working within the Food Manufacturing sector.
Inform3 are currently looking for a talented individual who has the ability to work in a team environment in order to carry out Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance repairs and do routine maintenance on equipment on site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a positive hands-on approach.
Duties Involve:
* Deliver PPM & reactive troubleshooting.
* Responsible for all site mechanical systems and ensuring they are fully operational, maintained and repaired accordingly.
* Analyse the testing and inspection data and report any issues to the Engineer Manager.
* Ability to use engineering tools that are required.
* Attend sites to carry out and resolve any maintenance issues to the industrial equipment that is being used.
* Work on refrigeration, plumbing and all breakdowns is carried out in a safe and tidy manner.
* Adhere to daily & weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site
* Ensure all work carried out is done so within the H&S requirements.
* Keep the downtime on all machines to a minimum as best as possible.
* Monitor stock levels and provide accurate information on regular progress updates.
Skills Required:
* 3+ years’ experience carrying out Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Repairs.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in food industry.
* Ability to fault find.
* Experience and understanding within Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
* Tig/arch welding, machinery and plant repair experience an advantage but not essential.
* Ability to manage time and exceed deadlines.
* Knowledge and understanding within food manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
* Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
