Alternative Heat design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite‑prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.
We specialise in the design, supply and installation of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. We also offer turnkey design, build and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large‑scale district heating solutions and have experience successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.
Team Overview
The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial and onsite teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination and problem‑solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Role Overview
The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in UK’s Building Services sector. Alternative Heat design, develop and deliver a wide range of off‑site‑prefabricated, innovative and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.
Job Title: Assembly Supervisor
Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Reporting to: Senior Production Manager
Work Environment: Factory floor‑based role with occasional office work. May require flexible working hours to support customer delivery commitments.
What You Need to Have
 * Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing and assembly environment.
 * Self‑motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic production setting.
 * Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
 * Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office tools.
 * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
 * Full UK Driving Licence.
What You Would Ideally Have
 * Knowledge and experience of Industrial & Mechanical Pipe fitting and Assembly.
 * Experience with root cause analysis and problem‑solving tools.
 * Previous experience working with mechanical and electrical contractors.
 * Relevant technical or engineering qualification (preferred but not essential).
