This is a hands-on role where you will take responsibility for your own portfolio of clients, including SMEs and limited companies, providing compliance, bookkeeping, and advisory services.
You will receive guidance and support from senior colleagues but will have the autonomy to develop strong client relationships and make an impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities Managing a personal portfolio of clients, including SMEs and limited companies Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Preparing corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and personal tax computations Assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts where required Liaising directly with clients, offering advice and building long-term relationships Supporting audit and assurance assignments as required Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation Requirements / Skills Minimum of 2 years experience in an accountancy practice Experience dealing directly with clients, including SMEs and limited companies Part-qualified ACCA / ACA / AAT or working towards professional qualification Strong technical knowledge of accounts, tax, and bookkeeping principles Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple client deadlines What Our Client Offers A supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunities for professional development and progression Exposure to a diverse client base, allowing development of technical and client management skills Competitive salary and benefits package Benefits: Paid Holidays Performance Bonus
