Job Overview:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, environmental and quality are maintained across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the charge in maintaining the organization's high Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards.
2. Remain abreast of new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all applicable legislation.
3. Promote employee awareness/training for EHSQ and foster a proactive EHSQ approach/attitude amongst all employees.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or related field.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Safe Pass certification and Manual Handling training.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry with a proven track record in SHEQ management.
* Thorough knowledge of Irish Health and Safety legislation.
