This role is based primarily in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland with an outbase in Cork, where you will lead and develop a high‑performing team dedicated to delivering our unique "good fashioned service" ethic.

As a Retail Sales & Operations Manager you will own your territory, deliver outstanding results, support the team, keep costs under control, and foster strong community relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead by example and empower the frontline team to delight customers and deliver good‑old‑fashioned service.
Develop and support the team to speak passionately and knowledgeably about our food.
Create a respectful, supportive environment and encourage continuous improvement for both customers and colleagues.
Prioritise team health and safety above all else.
Deliver the agreed target for Cost of Local Distribution (COLD) by:
Focusing on labour, vehicle, depot and local marketing costs.
Reviewing monthly performance with the Regional Manager.
Executing all agreed actions to keep the depot on target.
Grow sales by managing local customer relationships and delivering national and local campaigns:
Implement national campaign activities for new and existing customers.
Ensure all CRM activities are completed.
Implement local growth initiatives such as sheltered housing, CSA training, etc.
Engage with the local community to support sales growth:
Partner with community organisations.
Collaborate with local hospitals and healthcare professionals.
Essential Experience, Skills and Abilities
Establish exceptional relationships with customers.
Demonstrable experience of delivering sales and profitability targets with a high service standard.
Experience leading a team to create a culture of engagement and develop their true potential.
Ability to interpret data and identify key levers for success.
Desirable Experience, Skills and Abilities
Retail, care, hospitality or own business experience.
Experience implementing and complying with Health & Safety processes.
Experience managing employee consultation and leading change initiatives.
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent Maths and English.
Manual driving licence held for at least 2 years.
