* Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
* Strong proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Typescript, Java JavaScript/React, etc.),* A strong background in Typescript is a plus but not required.
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
* Be curious and motivated to learn new things* Design, develop and implement data processing pipelines in Palantir Foundry.
Prior experience in Foundry is a big plus but not required.
* Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).
* An understanding of containerization and compute optimization* Build and maintain scalable and reliable APIs to expose data and functionalities to other services and applications.
* Identify and implement performance optimization for existing code and data processing workflows, including leveraging containerization technologies for parallel execution.
* Contribute to the design and architecture of our data platform and applications.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines* Experience setting up E2E Engineering pipeline, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
* Have prior experience leading teams of engineers* You are passionate about exploring innovative AI and Generative AI technologies, using them to drive impactful solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
* You have experience working with both internal and external teams to deliver best-in-class data engineering solutions, sharing knowledge and best practices across the organization.
* You enjoy working within the financial services or insurance industry and understand the unique data challenges these sectors face.
