Job Title:
Senior Leakage Engineer (Water Conservation Lead)

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage leakage detection teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, skills development, performance reviews, and efficient use of resources.
* Oversee leakage detection operations, DMA integrity, data accuracy, and use of technology.
* Manage team budgets, approve purchases, and optimize cost-effective delivery of leakage reduction activities.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure effective planning, permitting, and reporting.
* Prioritize and direct proactive and reactive leakage control activities, manage small projects, and escalate issues appropriately.
* Enforce safety procedures, provide necessary equipment, and ensure legal and procedural adherence.
* Champion the use of enterprise systems, monitor network data, and ensure updates and analysis are completed accurately.
* Monitor and manage pumping regimes and reservoir operations to support network efficiency.
* Provide support during emergencies or out-of-hours as needed.

Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior water network management role or utility network management role.
* Relevant third-level qualification and/or accreditation desirable.
* Water Services Training Group Qualification desirable.
* Experience of working within a strong health & safety culture.
* Able to work collaboratively across various functions to achieve set objectives.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective communication skills to engage with a broad range of internal stakeholders and front-line employees.
* Experience of line and performance management duties.
* Able to make decisions based on analysis of information within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
