Senior Technical Architect required for expanding Irish RegTech business. Our client provides AI regulatory compliance solutions to the global Financial Services industry. This role will suit a hands-on Architect that codes and leads from the front, and is passionate about advancing engineering and product delivery using AIThis is hybrid working (1-2 days / week) in Dublin 4, and salary guide is c120-130K + 5% pension + Health ins + share optionsResponsibilitiesDrive the technical architecture, design, and implementation of core SaaS platform, and lead technical design sessions and architecture reviews.Contribute to codebase in Python (backend APIs, business logic).Oversee integration of AI/ML models into products and development processes.Lead the integration and application of AI technologies (LLMs, AI-assisted engineering, GenAI etc) to improve engineering productivity, product features, and automate delivery workflowsWork with product, engineering, and SMEs to design fault-tolerant, scalable systemsPrototype new approaches, particularly in AI-powered features and automationChampion the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologiesRequirementsProven experience leading architecture and engineering in high-scale SaaS environments.Strong hands-on coding in Python for API/web application development with knowledge of modern frontend development.Practical experience integrating AI services (LLMs, NLP, automation frameworks) into applications or engineering workflows.Strong SQL and relational data modelling skills (PostgreSQL preferred).Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS) and modern DevOps practices.Proven ability to design secure, scalable, enterprise-grade systems.Desirable - exposure to AI model fine-tuning and/or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
