Responsibilities

We are looking for an
Associate Scientist
to join a dynamic R&D team. In this role, you will act as a key contributor, providing essential support for the development of novel diagnostic assays from the planning and design stage right through to technical investigation and reporting.

* Plan, design, and conduct advanced studies to support the product development lifecycle with minimal oversight.
* Investigate and support process improvements within the New Product Introduction lifecycle.
* Develop and maintain Design History File and risk management files under direction.
* Draft and submit defined procedures and protocols in collaboration with sites to perform testing and data analysis.
* Analyse data from experiments, formulate conclusions, and determine future experiments.
* Support R&D lab set-up, including authoring SOPs, coordinating equipment procurement, and maintaining documentation.
* Ensure quality compliance by adhering to internal procedures and supporting quality management system documentation.
* Prepare reports and presentations to share knowledge and expertise with internal groups.

Experience

* A Higher Certificate, Ordinary or Honours Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field is desired, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
* 0-2 years' related work experience.
* Willing to learn, understand and train in the design and optimization of serological diagnostic tests.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an understanding of statistical analysis.
* Excellent problem-solving methodology, using industry accepted concepts and tools to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
* Proficiency in technical writing and data presentation for data summary and technical reports.
* Capable of adjusting to a dynamic working environment and changing priorities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
* Effective at building strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
