Design Leadership Opportunity
Job Description:
* Oversee the coordination of all design activities to ensure designs align with project requirements and schedules.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to manage design development, ensuring compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and industry standards.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients and other stakeholders, reflecting their needs and expectations in the design.
* Conduct thorough reviews of design documentation, drawings, and specifications to identify potential conflicts or issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in design management, preferably with a main contractor.
* Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, planning processes, and construction standards is essential.
* Proven ability to manage multiple design packages, coordinate with different stakeholders, and handle design changes effectively.
