Our busy Dublin 22 hotel is looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Reservations Agent to support our bookings department. This customer-facing role is essential to delivering seamless reservation experiences for our guests, both over the phone and online.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to reservation enquiries via phone, email, and third-party platforms
* Process individual and group bookings accurately
* Maximise room occupancy and revenue through effective selling techniques
* Update booking systems and records in real-time
* Liaise with reception and sales departments to ensure smooth guest experience
* Handle special requests and last-minute changes efficiently
Requirements:
* Previous experience in reservations or front office preferred
* Strong communication and IT skills
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident telephone manner and professional email etiquette
* Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
* Strong command of the Hotsoft Property Management System is essential
