Job Title: Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of multiple projects. This role involves ensuring the successful delivery of projects from planning and procurement through to execution and completion.
You will be working on public works projects, specifically school projects with a couple of hospital projects in the pipeline. The team is comprised of experienced professionals who require minimal supervision, allowing for a significant amount of autonomy in your work. Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, execution, and completion.
* Contract Oversight: Manage all contract requirements, including negotiations, terms, conditions, risk assessment, and compliance.
* Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, implementing cost-control measures to meet financial targets.
* Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress by coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
* Quality Assurance: Enforce industry standards and best practices, ensuring all work complies with relevant specifications, safety regulations, and quality control protocols.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety across all sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and practices.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations regarding project milestones and deliverables.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction management in Ireland.
* In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
* Strong budgeting, financial management, and risk assessment skills.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
* Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites within the Midlands region.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a related field.
* Professional certifications in construction management, such as CIOB or APM.
