Event Operations Manager
This is a key role in the events sector, responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution.
The successful candidate will be a highly organized and motivated individual who can lead a team to deliver exceptional results. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
* Oversee the planning, setup, and execution of all banqueting events.
* Lead, support, and develop the banqueting service team to deliver flawless guest experiences.
* Liaise with the Events Team, Executive Chef, Head Chef, and other departments to ensure smooth service coordination.
* Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and performance to meet operational needs.
* Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and health & safety compliance.
* Monitor stock, equipment, and room readiness for efficient event turnover.
* Respond to guest feedback professionally, implementing improvements as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
Minimum 1 year's experience in banqueting, events, or hospitality management;
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail;
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and guide a team;
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with event schedules;
