The Rooms Division Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences. This leadership position oversees the Reservations and Front Office departments, fostering a culture of outstanding service that consistently meets and exceeds guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee check-in and check-out processes to guarantee maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction.
* Maintain strong communication lines with other departments to foster collaboration and ensure a cohesive approach to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Develop and review standard operating procedures to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
* Review guest feedback and implement corrective action to address any issues or concerns.
* Respond promptly and efficiently to guest concerns or complaints.
Ideal Candidate:
We seek a seasoned hospitality professional with at least 3 years' experience in a 4-star property within front office and rooms. The ideal candidate will possess:
* A strong working knowledge of hotel property management systems.
* Strong team leadership, development, and training skills.
* Excellent organisation skills, planning methods, and a passion for achieving success.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
System Experience:
The successful candidate will have excellent working knowledge of:
* Hotel Front Office, Reservations, Guest Services, and CRM systems including Opera/Hotsoft.
* Microsoft Office Suite.
* Booking engine software (SHR Avvio or similar).
* CRM & Reputation Management Software (Revinate or similar).
