The successful applicant will be reliable, efficient, and confident handling cows independently.
Key Responsibilities Carrying out morning and afternoon milkings to a high standard Preparing and cleaning the milking parlour before and after milking Ensuring correct milking routines (prepping, cluster attachment, post-milking teat care) Identifying and reporting any cow health or mastitis issues Maintaining hygiene, animal welfare, and milk quality standards Milking Times Morning: 6:30 / 7:00 am Afternoon: 3:00 pm Sunday milkings Requirements Proven experience as a dairy milker (essential) Confident working with a ***** unit parlour or similar Good stock sense and calm manner with livestock Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Understanding of hygiene and milk quality standards Hours Contract Relief / part-time work Sunday milkings Remuneration Competitive rate, dependent on experience To Apply Please get in touch with details of your dairy milking experience and availability.
