Job Description
As a senior project manager, you will oversee a major multi-phase campus project in West Dublin for an international organisation delivering large-scale hyperscale data centres.
This role represents the client on site, leading delivery across all disciplines and ensuring the project progresses to schedule, budget and quality targets.
The successful candidate will lead the full lifecycle delivery of a major hyperscale data-centre project in West Dublin, owning programme performance, contractor management, technical coordination and stakeholder alignment from pre-construction through commissioning, IST and TOC.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive the project through all stages from pre-construction planning to commissioning, handover and close-out.
2. Manage scope, cost, schedule, quality and risk, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
3. Lead the main contractor, specialist vendors and design partners to maintain delivery performance.
4. Ensure full compliance with project governance, reporting requirements and controls.
5. Produce clear, high-quality documentation including schedules, progress reports, forecasts, cost updates and risk registers.
6. Make informed decisions that protect programme and cost and support the client's strategic goals.
7. Act as the primary on-site point of accountability for project delivery.
8. Build strong working relationships with engineering, pre-construction, operations, networking, procurement, security, quality and other client-side groups.
9. Maintain clear, concise communication across all levels of the project organisation, including senior stakeholders.
10. Provide accurate weekly reporting and escalate issues promptly when needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience delivering large-scale projects, ideally hyperscale data centres or other mission-critical environments.
* Experience acting as the client's representative or senior PM on complex technical builds.
* Full lifecycle delivery experience including commissioning, IST and TOC.
* Strong technical understanding of MEP and electrical systems and how they integrate across the data-centre environment.
* Demonstrable track record managing main contractors directly and maintaining performance without escalation.
* Strong commercial, contractual and risk-management capability.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Calm, solutions-focused approach and strong ownership mindset.
