We offer a wide range of services from product development and formulation to packaging.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet the required quality standards in accordance with cosmetic, food-grade and medical device manufacturing regulations. This role supports the business in maintaining product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction through rigorous testing, documentation, and cross-departmental collaboration.The main responsibilities of the role are:Sample and inspect incoming materials, bulk batches, and final products according to internal quality standards and specifications.Ensure the timely release of raw materials, bulk, and finished products to meet production schedules.Perform routine laboratory tests (e.g. pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and appearance checks).Perform preparation, sampling, testing, monitoring, and accurate recording of all microbiological samples, including finished products, raw materials, water, equipment and environmental swabs.Prepare and submit external laboratory samples as required.Analyse test results to ensure they are within specification, escalate anomalies as needed.Complete all associated documentation for inspections and tests accurately and promptly.· Set up approved raw materials on our internal ERP system and prepare associated incoming inspection documents.Maintain a clean and organised laboratory environment through regular housekeeping and adherence to hygiene protocols.Calibrate, verify, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.Work collaboratively with relevant departments to address and resolve quality issues.Skills/ExperienceStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficient in the use of MS Word and ExcelAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong organisational and time-management skills.High standard of cleanliness and hygiene awareness, especially in regulated environments.Working Hours:Monday – Thursday 7.30am to 4pmFridays 7.30am – 2pmTotal of 36.75 hours per week.EducationGood standard of education required with a third level qualification in a science or engineering discipline desirable but not essential.BenefitsTogether with our shorter working week we also offer:21 days holidayLife assurance coverFamily health & wellbeing cover (inc. online GP, counselling, therapy & Best Doctors)The opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment for a company who values work-life balance and encourages professional growth through training and developmentJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
