Senior Design Co-ordinator
Job Summary:
A leading Irish Contractor seeks a Senior Design Co-ordinator to manage design projects and co-ordinate architectural and engineering information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the setting out of projects with emphasis on the co-ordination of architectural and engineering information.
• Co-ordinate utilities and services from and between mechanical and electrical engineers and utility providers.
• Prepare and maintain the schedule of information requirements in accordance with the contract programme.
• Co-ordinate and manage technical submittal process for all elements/components required to construct the project.
• Monitor progress and problems arising, advising the Project Manager/Site Manager as necessary.
Requirements:
• 5 years' industry experience working as a Design Manager on Commercial/Resi and/or Data Centre, Industrial projects.
• Relevant Third-level qualification (Engineering or Architectural).
• Previous Main Contractor experience is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational/planning skills.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritise, and work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
