Mi-Flues Ltd manufacturers, designs, distributes and installs high quality flue and chimney solutions to the Industrial and Data Centre sectors, Commercial, and Merchant markets. With future significant growth planned we are recruiting for the following role to join our Installation Team.
INSTALLATION MANAGER
Location of the role: You are required to work throughout Ireland and in other European locations.
ROLE PURPOSE
You will manage the installation of projects, providing installation solutions, assessment and fulfilment of health and safety responsibilities, scheduling of work with installation teams, completion of the installation and its handover, building and strengthening relationships with clients by ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Establish, promote, and lead an excellent safety culture on all projects.
* Ensure all Health & Safety related documentation is created, reviewed, and adequate prior to and throughout works being carried out where appropriate, assessing and addressing risks, and identifying a safe method of work which is communicated to all relevant parties.
* Performance management - monitor individual installer and overall Installation team performance, provide training and development, and feedback for improvement to new and existing staff, taking corrective actions where necessary
* Carry out and complete installations and related works (site surveys/measure-ups, camera surveys, onsite repairs and maintenance) to meet installation targets and client expectations.
* Develop installation plans where projects dictate, overseeing schedules and managing timelines.
* Manage the installation budget, ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources.
* Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during installations to achieve project goals.
* Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project installation, communicating and addressing issues or concerns, building relationships to grow and drive the business.
* Manage the Installation teams, provide site support and solutions, along with technical backup.
* Maintain and report, within required timeframes, accurate records of installation activities, including progress to deadlines, job completion records and client communications where appropriate.
* Drive improvements in processes in the Installation team, to achieve efficiency targets, manage costs, track and eliminate errors to deliver industry recognised product and service to the client to grow and drive business.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education/Qualifications-Third level qualification / Trades qualification in Engineering or construction
Experience - 5 years proven track record in a similar role
