Community Employment Supervisor (Job Share, 19.5 Hours Per Week)County Carlow Early Years Training Scheme Clg are seeking a Community Employment (CE)Supervisor to work on a job share basis. The CE Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day runningof our CE Scheme. The programme supports long-term unemployed individuals to re-enter the workforce through training, work experience, and personal development.About the RoleThe CE Supervisor will manage the effective operation of the scheme, supporting participants in gaining valuable skills and qualifications, while liaising with early years services and maintaining high administrative standards.Key Responsibilities Include:Managing the administration and budget of the CE Scheme in line with DSP procedures.Preparing reports, records, and returns for both internal requirements and the department of Social Protection.Providing leadership and co-ordination for scheme participants and staff.Supporting participant induction, supervision, and ongoing professional development.Co-ordinating accredited training (QQI Level 5 and 6 in Early Childhood Care &Education).Assisting participants with job readiness, applications, and interview preparation.Building and maintaining relationships with employers, training bodies, and community groups.Essential Requirements:Must have attained a major 3 rd level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project Management orMajor Award in ChildcareMinimum 3 years people supervisory experience in managing staffStrong interpersonal, administration, IT, and HR skills.Understanding policy and practice in the Early Years sector.Full Clean Driver's license and car are essential requirementsGarda vetting is required and two written referencesThe salary will start at point 1 of 4-point scale, given an annual salary of €18,580.12Details of Job description available on requestHow To ApplyPlease forward CV and cover letter to: Closing date for application is Friday the 17 th of October 2025.Job Type: Part-timePay: From €18,580.00 per yearExpected hours: 19.5 per weekWork Location: In person
