BUSINESS SECTOR:Agri Trading Dan O Connor FeedsJOB TITLE: Sales RepresentativeJOB PURPOSE:To drive and grow the Arrabawn Tipperary and Dan O'Connor Feeds business' by winning new business and retaining existing customers.REPORTING TO:Sales ManagerLOCATION:ClareRESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:Providing a top-quality service in all customer interactionCustomer service and relationshipDevelop current customer relationships to a high standard to ensure the retention and growth of existing businessEffectively resolve any customer queries or complaintsMaintain and exceed the highest standards of professionalism and customer serviceRepresenting the company in a professional manner and building the company's profileResponsible for selling animal feeds and farm inputsDeveloping relationships with existing customers and developing relationships with new customersManagement of all aspects of the sales process from customer interaction, ordering, quotations, cash collectionWorking as part of a team with internal departmentsAchieve and exceed set sales targets and objectivesEnsure that the payment for sales is collected in the appropriate manner within the appropriate timeframes as set out by the companyTo accurately keep all records of sales to customers and to ensure that these records are completed correctly and are communicated back to Head Office for processing.Market and Promote productsQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:Previous sales / business development experience essentialFull clean driving licence essentialA qualification in an Agricultural/Business discipline or equivalent is a distinct advantageKnowledge/experience of AgricultureKEY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES / CORE COMPETENCIES:Fluency in English essentialBe able to demonstrate proven track record of achieving targets in a repeat order, end user sales environmentStrong IT and administration skillsPERSONAL ATTRIBUES / CORE BEHAVIOURS:Energetic and ambitiousExcellent inter-personal, organisational, presentation, negotiation and communication skillsHigh motivation, Flexibility and the ability to work on own initiativeKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:To be confirmedNote: As with all positions, due to the nature of our business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time.
