Clinical Sales Specialist (Capital Equipment)
Territory: Field-based, covering Dublin/Leinster
About the Role
A leading provider of capital equipment solutions for the healthcare sector is seeking an experienced Clinical Sales Specialist to support continued growth across the Leinster/Dublin region. This role focuses on managing key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions in a highly regulated and technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders
Understand client needs and challenges to offer effective, customised solutions
Act as the main point of contact, ensuring responsive and professional communication
Conduct regular site visits and meetings to maintain engagement and uncover new opportunities
Sales Strategy & Performance
Develop and execute strategic territory plans to meet sales targets
Prepare accurate forecasts and reports, using data to guide decision-making
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service terms to ensure value for both parties
Use CRM tools to manage client interactions and track sales activity
Market Insight & Analysis
Gather and report on customer feedback and competitor activity
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments
Conduct research to support strategic planning and identify growth areas
Product Expertise
Develop a strong understanding of the capital equipment portfolio
Stay current with product updates and industry best practices, particularly in line with HSE guidelines
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally within the medical device or healthcare sector
Understanding of healthcare systems and regulatory environments
Willingness to travel across Ireland and occasionally abroad for training or conferences
Ability to grasp technical concepts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with strong time management abilities
Technically proficient and confident using digital tools
Full clean driving licence and fluency in English required
