Social Care Specialist

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
* Promote the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person.
* Ensure the physical, emotional, social, and religious welfare of our clients.
* Encourage education, training, and medical attendance.
* Organize personal documents and finances.
* Liaise with parents, families, and relevant agencies.
* Attend meetings and engage in activities with children/young people.
* Implement appropriate intervention strategies as per local policies.
* Promote participation in decision-making processes.
* Manage household tasks and prepare meals.
* Report progress to the Social Care Leader/Manager.
* Adhere to child protection procedures and legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of HIQA and be committed to ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
* Registration in the Social Care Workers Register or eligibility for registration.
* CORU-approved qualification or application for registration.
* Requisite knowledge and ability for proper discharge of duties.
