Here’s what we’re looking for:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key financial processes, including:
* premium collection,
* bank reconciliations,
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
* financial operations,
* strong technical accounting skills,
* familiarity with payment systems.
This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency. Responsibilities include managing relationships with banks and payment providers, providing management information (MI) reports on financial operations, reviewing aged debtors, and managing claims payment control accounts.
To succeed, candidates should hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* At least five years of experience in financial operations, especially in premium collections, claims payments, and reconciliations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Experience in process improvement, project management, and insurance is advantageous.
