This is a long-term contract with real impact-maintaining and evolving the infrastructure that underpins essential services. Core Responsibilities: Lead enhancements across theVMware virtualisation and hosting environments Provision and maintainphysical and virtual servers Deliver infrastructure projects to tight deadlines, aligned with best practice Maintain server health (hardware, virtualisation layer, OS) Apply security updates, hotfixes, service packs, and firmware Build and supportKubernetes clusters and 3rd party management platforms Manage server environments (Windows Server 2012-2022, Linux/Unix) Troubleshoot incidents and lead root cause analysis Deliver capacity, usage, and performance reporting Follow ITIL service delivery principles and produce strong technical documentation Required Experience: Virtualisation / VMware: vSphere, vCenter vRealize Operations, Log Insight, Network Insight NSX-T Omnissa Horizon Automation & Containers: Terraform & Ansible Kubernetes Clusters Server Administration: Windows Server (2012-2022) Linux/Unix systems Mandatory Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) orVMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) MCSE (or Microsoft-approved equivalent in Server Admin) Note: Candidates may be asked to provide copies of certifications during the process.
