Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Courtown for Residential Care Staff. The individual will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and supervision for young people in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, welfare, and well-being. Key responsibilities include implementing care plans, fostering positive relationships, supporting education and development, managing challenging behaviors, and ensuring a safe and structured environment aligned with the Emerald Model of Care principles.
Qualifications
* Experience in childcare, residential care, or supporting young people
* Ability to manage challenging behaviors and foster positive relationships
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for young people
* Relevant qualifications in social care, youth work, childcare, or a related field
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Full clean driving license is preferred
* Understanding of child protection policies and trauma-informed practices is an advantage
