Job Summary:
The Operations Team Leader will lead a team of packaging professionals to achieve operational excellence and high levels of client satisfaction. This role involves managing production schedules, costs, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership:
* Lead and manage the packaging team to ensure efficient production, adherence to schedules, cost control, and compliance with all company policies.
* Drive high levels of client service while maintaining operational excellence and ensuring the continued skills development of the packaging teams.
Line Management:
* Complete appraisals, performance management, absence reviews, and effective daily rostering to ensure effective resource utilisation.
Requirements:
* A proactive, positive attitude and ability to effectively negotiate and persuade.
* A commitment to continuous improvement.
* Strong knowledge of Packaging & Manufacturing, with the ability to anticipate and effectively resolve problems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree level qualification and/or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment, ideally to include the supervision of personnel and the allocation of work.

* During periods of additional work requests this role will require additional coverage beyond normal working hours.
