We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary civil and structural engineering team in Macroom, County Cork.
The role involves contributing to the design, analysis, and delivery of a wide range of civil engineering projects across commercial, industrial, and public sector contracts.
This is a full time, permanent, office based position with site visit requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare civil and structural engineering designs including drainage systems (surface water, foul, and process), roadways, and site infrastructure.
Produce detailed drawings, calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
Assist with the design of foundations, substructures, structural frames, and building fit-outs.
Carry out site inspections, surveys, and condition assessments.
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and statutory authorities.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant Irish and European standards, regulations, and best practice.
Support project delivery from concept design through construction and completion.
Apply sustainable and efficient engineering solutions to meet project requirements.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Working towards Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
Strong technical, design and drafting software, analytical, and problem-solving skills Full driving licence is essential.
2+ years experience Salary is based on experience and qualifications and raging from €50 75,000.
