This post is a permanent contract and offers an amazing opportunity for a candidate who wants to work with a progressive and dynamic company.Role OverviewSenior Health and Safety Officer to provide general assistance and support to the Office, Site, Fabrication Teams and HSE Manager, ensuring safe practice, & environmental compliance is all being controlled in a safe and healthy environment. Liaising with HSE Officer, Staff, Principal Contractors, Clients & partners ensuring the correct policies are being followed, including your attendance on any site H&S walks and daily briefs.Core Responsibilities of roleProvide HSE advice and support to HSE Manager, other Managers, supervisors, and colleagues for the entire company workforce, subcontracted labour, other site workers and members of the public.To develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and promote a culture of engagement and continual improvement.Leading HSE Officers and Administrators in their duties and development.To create & maintain safe systems of work (RAMS etc) and ensure these are being effectively applied. Driving continual improvement.To complete/maintain HSE Site, Workshop & Equipment inspections & records.To complete incident investigations and identify and implement improvement measures.Become aware of the functions of other members of staff in the department as they affect your work.To attend necessary meetings as required.To undertake assigned work in a professional and efficient way, in compliance with current HSE legislation, regulatory requirements and the company's Integrated Management Systems.To communicate in a professional, helpful and non-prejudicial manner in all your dealings with clients and customers as you will be regarded as a representative of your department and the Company, and you should behave accordingly.To behave in a professional manner and always cooperate with all other members of staff.Deliver regular toolbox & induction talks.Plan, review and record Emergency preparedness across all sites across company locationsTo maintain high standards of work within your department.Any other duties deemed necessary by Management.To access a more detailed JD and to apply for the role, please click on the link or contact
