Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Purpose: To support the smooth running of the Clondalkin Horse Project by carrying out assigned maintenance and cleaning duties and supporting young people in the care of their equine resident in the yard.
Responsible to: The Yard Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* To support young people in ensuring that individual stables are mucked out daily.
* To ensure the general maintenance of the yard itself including daily and weekly cleaning routines.
* To monitor that equines are getting the necessary feed and water.
* To support young people in properly caring for their equines.
* To operate in line with all health and safety guidelines.
* To operate in line with all child protection guidelines.
* To assist in ensuring that all routines are carried out in line with the club's operational manual.
* From time to time to undertake any other relevant task including the unloading of hay.
* To participate in training as identified by the Clondalkin Equine Club.
Shifts: There will be a number of 4 hour shifts in operation in the yard and this will include weekend shifts.
