Financial Operations Manager
We are seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and cash flow management.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations. You will also be responsible for managing cash flow, preparing financial reports, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, invoices, expenses, and petty cash
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
* Oversee cash flow and payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments
* Manage VAT returns and prepare other filings as required
* Payroll and people management, including running monthly payroll, tracking holiday pay, sick leave, pensions, and new starter paperwork
Requirements:
* Experience with payroll, VAT, and monthly accounts
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Familiarity with accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
