The Position
Forvis Mazars in Ireland is seeking to hire experienced Data Analytic Consultants at Director, Senior Manager, Manager and Assistant Manager level within its Business Consulting Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious and motivated individuals to lead and grow a Data Analytics team. As a significant area of growth for our business, the role also offers considerable potential for career progression up to and including Partner level in the firm.
As a Data Analytics Consultant, you will help clients unlock the value of their data to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements. You will work on diverse projects involving data strategy, predictive analytics, and performance measurement. This role requires technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and managing the delivery of a wide variety of complex data analytics projects, supporting clients to transform and improve their business. This includes:
Advising clients on the establishment and utilisation of data governance frameworks, including efficient and secure data management policies, standards, and processes based on the priorities and needs of the business.
Utilising a range of systems and tools to sanitise, store and manipulate data.
Developing data quality frameworks to enhance data quality in various aspects of the client’s business.
Establishing rules and procedures for sharing data within and outside client organisations.
Ability to apply best practices, tools and methodologies to deliver measurable project outcomes.
Managing and driving projects and ensuring all key tasks and milestones are successfully achieved to budget, time and quality standards.
Managing client and project stakeholder relationships ensuring regular communication, project updates and expectation management.
Attending and facilitating client meetings and workshops to gather relevant data.
Analysing data to inform appropriate solutions, scenarios and options for clients.
Developing and presenting project deliverables including reports and presentations.
Supporting on all business development initiatives for the team including building valuable relationships with clients and contacts and the preparation of proposals and presentations, thought leadership and collateral covering key market and client initiatives.
Acting as a subject matter expert in one or more areas, developing innovative insights and using your knowledge and experience to tailor our services to fit the client’s needs.
Contributing to the growth and development of the Data Analytics service and solutions.
Skills and Experience
Masters or third-level degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
Understanding, proficiency and preferably certification in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Fabric, Databricks, Tableau, GDP, AWS, Azure, SQL, Python, R, etc.).
Experience developing data-oriented Power Apps and Power Automate solutions is preferable.
Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in data governance and data management, depending on the level being applied for.
Industry specific experience in the Public Sector, Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors.
Strong people and project management capability including ability to lead or work with others, manage or support project budgets, scope creep, expectations, deliverables, timelines, etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic, analytical, innovative and creative mindset.
The ability to multi-task and work in a professional, pressurised and deadline driven environment, grasping new concepts quickly to produce results.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work in complex stakeholder environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations and the ability to interact and communicate with Senior Management personnel.
Strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
