Job Opportunity
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults in a supportive and dynamic environment.
* Maintain open communication with the ADPHN or senior nurse on duty
* Deliver holistic care to clients, encompassing physical, emotional, and social needs
* Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments, develop personalized plans, and ensure smooth admissions and discharges
* Reconcile and administer medications accurately
* Ensure accurate documentation of client information
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Adhere to NMBI and HIQA regulations
* Accompany general practitioners on rounds
* Delegate tasks effectively to HCA's and MTA's
* Identify and escalate risks as necessary
* Manage incidents promptly and according to protocol
During daytime shifts, the nurse will have support from a second nurse, while evening and night shifts will be staffed by one nurse assisted by HCA/MTA.
