Apprentice Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)
37 hours per week (Monday‑Friday), All Year Round
Actual salary: National Minimum Wage £15,434.33 – £24,521.29 (depending on age)
Fixed term to align with completion of Level 3 apprenticeship
Brookside Academy Nursery are currently recruiting a Nursery Apprentice who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young children and is eager to begin a career in early years education.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
Supporting children’s emotional, social and cognitive development through play
Helping to observe and record children’s progress and learning journeys
Promoting positive behaviour and building children’s confidence and self‑esteem
Working alongside the team to build strong relationships with parents/carers
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety at all times
Qualifications
A genuine interest in working with young children
Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education
Good basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills
A positive attitude, reliability and eagerness to learn
