Speech & Language Therapist - Paediatrics (Longford) Salary: €40 - €50 per Hour Location: Longford - Paediatric Service Contract: Full-time, part-time, Long-term Locum About the Role Emerald Locums are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist for a single paediatric service based in Longford. This is the only SLT role currently available and offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting children and families within a defined service area. You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality assessment and intervention in a community and clinic-based setting, with strong professional support from both the service and Emerald Locums. Key Responsibilities * Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs * Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with families and MDT colleagues * Work closely with Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, and Social Work colleagues * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with HSE and professional standards * Participate in team meetings, service development, and ongoing professional development Requirements * CORU registration as a Speech & Language Therapist (essential) * Recognised degree in Speech & Language Therapy * Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification paediatric experience * Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills * Ability to work independently and manage a defined caseload * Full driving licence and access to a car preferred (community-based work) Benefits * Competitive pay: €40 - €50 per hour (equivalent to approx. €70,000 - €80,000 per annum DOE) * Long-term locum opportunity with stability * Supportive MDT working environment * Ongoing CPD and professional support * Excellent work-life balance How to Apply Please send your CV along with a short cover note outlining your paediatric experience and availability.
