Rack and Stack Datacentre TechnicianIreland- Germany/Italy/France/ Czech ( Hybrid)3months Contract with possible extensionResponsibilities:Perform rack and stack installation of servers, network devices, and related hardware in data centre environmentsInstall, label, route, and terminate structured cabling (copper and fiber) according to industry standardsConfigure and support Cisco networking equipment, including switches and routersConnect and manage AC and DC power systems, including PDUs and redundant power setupsEnsure proper cable management, airflow optimization, and equipment placement within racksConduct hardware troubleshooting, diagnostics, and basic network connectivity testingFollow data centre best practices, safety procedures, and change management protocolsAssist with equipment decommissioning, relocation, and asset trackingMaintain accurate documentation for installations, cabling layouts, and inventoryCollaborate with network engineers, operations teams, and vendors to support infrastructure projectsQualifications & Skills:Experience: 2+ years in rack and stack installations, preferably in data centres.Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and structured cabling.Familiarity with power systems (AC/DC), cable routing, and termination.Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).Understanding of data centre best practices and safety protocols.
