Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wexford for an Assistant Trading Underwriter. The role involves supporting underwriting activities, analyzing risks, compiling detailed reports, and maintaining broker relationships. Daily responsibilities include processing policy documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards, assisting with policy renewals, and providing exceptional customer service. The Assistant Trading Underwriter will play a key role in contributing to the growth and success of the business while adhering to regulatory standards.
Qualification
* Knowledge of Risk Analysis, Policy Underwriting, and Insurance Operations
* Leaving Certificate or third level qualification
* APA qualified/grandfathered and interested in progressing towards CIP ideally
* Strong skills in Communication, Interpersonal Interaction, and Relationship Building to support broker collaboration
* Proficiency in Data Analysis, Attention to Detail, and Report Writing
* Understanding of Ireland's insurance market and regulatory requirements; prior experience in insurance or underwriting is advantageous
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in using computer systems and insurance-related software
