Elite Talent Hub Ltd is a specialist in permanent staffing solutions for clients across Ireland.
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client, a well-established mechanical contractor based in Limerick with projects nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their engineering team with a junior-level hire.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of pre-construction and O&M (Operation & Maintenance) manuals.
* Monitor subcontractor progress and report on project milestones.
* Manage document control processes, including recording and distributing drawings and technical documents.
* Support the coordination and implementation of mechanical building services design.
* Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments for site activities.
* Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure proper coordination of mechanical services.
Key Skills
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Graduate engineers are encouraged to apply.
* 1+ years’ experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
* Basic understanding of mechanical engineering design principles and construction processes.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and take initiative when needed.
