Job Title: Senior Social Care Worker

* This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Social Care Worker to join our team as a Senior Social Care Worker.
The primary objective of this role is to provide person-centred care and support, meeting the practical, physical and emotional needs of service users. As a member of our on-floor duty team, you will be responsible for coordinating shifts and supervising junior staff under your direction.
You will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) in service delivery to residents. In the absence of the Person In-Charge, you may be required to deputise and assume management responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
1. A qualification at Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing or Childcare with Disability modules.
2. At least 2 years' experience working in a residential, respite or day service setting with people with an intellectual disability.
3. CORU registration or currently in the process of obtaining CORU registration.
